happy holidays 2017

On December 15, 2017 students and family shared a fun-filled night making gingerbread houses. They used graham crackers, milk cartons, and brought their own decorations to create one of a kind masterpieces. Thank you to our FOA and the support of our staff to make this all happen!

On Thursday, December 22, 2017 our 1st graders celebrated the holidays with family at their Winter Family Fun Day. Students performed a short play, “The Very Busy Spider” by Eric Carle and sang Christmas songs. They ended their morning with fun craft activities and refreshments.

At our Holiday Assembly, we were treated by special performances from our very own Ukulele Club, and our First Graders did a special encore performance of their play, "The Very Busy Spider" for the entire school. In keeping with the holiday spirit we had a Christmas Door/Bulletin Board Decorating Contest. Mr. Passantino, Mr. Heaton, and Mrs. Miura had the daunting task of judging each classroom's entry. The winning entry came from the classroom of A203! Congratulations to everyone!
