Please note that we cancelled the scheduled fire drill due to the muddy field conditions. I will let you know as soon as we have it rescheduled.

The 5th graders visited Jarrett Middle School on Wednesday! They saw all the opportunities awaiting them and had a guided tour from the AVID students.

Your child should have brought home a flyer about our December 5th family engagement activity: gingerbread house and bingo night. While you enjoy light refreshments sponsored by Title I, we will share slides on how the school is supporting your child and the supports available on campus. If you cannot make it this time, please know that we will have more engagement opportunities throughout the school year. (see flyer above)

This upcoming week is kindness spirit week! (more info above)

Drone Fly-Over

We were lucky to have been introduced to John Johnson through our Friends of Ali‘iolani (FOA) President Mr. and Mrs. Chong.

John was able to film our school from 400 feet with his drone and captured some amazing photos that allow us to see our school's physical space in a different light. He also was able to get all students and staff in a big "A" with Diamond Head and the Honolulu cityscape in the background.

We are so thankful to John for donating his time and energy and making our school a true work of art for all to see.
